Career Description

EZCORP is hiring for a Financial Analyst for our Evergreen Division (LANA).  This exciting new venture creates an outstanding opportunity for the right individual.

The Financial Analyst will provide technical expertise and support relating to financial, analysis, reporting and compliance.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Create detailed financial models to evaluate business risks and opportunities
  • Own Egreen’s multi-year plan and develop dynamic, multi-scenario financial models to compare various long-range operating plans
  • Lead ad-hoc strategic analyses to support key business decision-making including unit economics analysis, competitor benchmarking, and more
  • Review and understand monthly reporting and bridge any gaps on requirements from HQ
  • Build and update complex financial models
  • Ensure financial data accuracy, integrity and consistency of information as well as organized documentation of results and data sources used
  • Support production, publication and distribution of monthly reports including updating and sending out variance templates to region counterparts and Finance Business Partners

Critical and Essential Tasks

  • Gathers, analyzes, prepares and makes recommendations for financial plans and operating forecasts
  • Partners with Technology project teams to prepare pro forma analyses and develop capital authorization requests (CARs)
  • Prepares and presents financial reports and analyses to Finance and Technology senior leadership
  • Prepares and presents financial packages/decks
  • Ensures accuracy of all financial information included in planning processes and financial analysis
  • Develops a strong understanding of the business supported and the ability to proactively provide and analyze data before it’s requested and gather agreement with all partners on relevant issues
  • Coordinates and ensures all compliance requirements are communicated and understood

Career Requirements


  • 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • Advanced financial modelling skills, including forecasting, budgeting, cash flow and variance analysis
  • Extensive experience in Excel and strong data organization skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey analytical concepts clearly to peers and management
  • Experience with SQL or other data analysis programming languages a plus


A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA/MBA preferred


  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Knowledge of Statutory accounting principles.
  • Understands and feels comfortable liaising and coordinating compliance efforts with HQ
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Maturity, professionalism, and high level of discretion are required
  • Knowledge of procedural controls and data validation techniques required
  • Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Independent worker and analytical thinker with an ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems
  • Strong presence with the ability to interact with Senior Leadership

Technical Skills

  • Must have extremely strong MS Excel skills
  • Financial modelling expertise

Language Skills

Fluent in English (must have strong written and verbal communication skills)
