We are currently searching for a Financial Services Representative for our Brantford branch located at 192 King George Road  This is a full-time role offering 35-40 hours per week.


1. Ensure superior customer service standards.
2. Ensure accuracy and efficiency of customer Financial Services transactions.
3. Be knowledgeable of all Company products and services.


1. Delivers outstanding service to customers, inclusive of greeting, positive interaction, accurate processing of Personal Finance transactions, and closing the transaction according to Company procedures.

2. Follows proper cash handling procedures related to the customer transaction and on-going safeguarding, ensuring accuracy of counts and Safe procedures.

3. Follows proper gold/silver testing and handling procedures to ensure authenticity of product and on-going safeguarding.

4. Maintains current knowledge on the Company’s product/service selection, promotional items, and programs to effectively service customers and suggest solutions, alternative or incremental

5. Performs required follow-up calls to PFC customers on a timely basis, exhibiting positive and friendly phone manner. Assists Manager in all other required follow-up to ensure timely payment of outstanding loans.

6. Handles basic customer issues according to standard procedure, referring more complex issues to the Financial Services Manager or District Manager as required.

7. Performs all store opening & closing procedures as required.

8. Performs regular duties related to store cleanliness for all in-store and outside areas.

9. Follows standard procedures for loss prevention and execute related tasks to minimize theft and property damage including observing customer activity and reporting any external/ internal theft.

10. Assists in the training of new Team Members as required.

11. Follows store-operating procedures and perform all shift duties as assigned by store management.

12. Attends and participates in any shift huddles and staff meetings as scheduled by store management.

13. Participates in any store audit processes on a periodic basis as scheduled by store management.

14. Works in a collaborative and cooperative manner with all fellow Team Members contributing to a positive work environment.

15. Works in a safe manner with due regard for any procedure related to safe work practices, and ensures any actual or potential safety risks are reported appropriately. Understands and follows the Health & Safety

16. Ensures their interaction with fellow Team Members, and during the course of normal duties, strictly adheres to the Respect in the Workplace Policy and all policies related to employee well-being.

Areas of Knowledge/Technical Skills:

❖ Strong in-person and over-the-phone customer service skills including “suggestive selling”.  Along with an ability to overcome objections
❖ Basic knowledge of banking or finance processes an asset.

Education / Work Experience:

❖ Previous customer service experience in a retail or financial services environment.
❖ Previous cash handling experience.
❖ High School Diploma or equivalency.
❖ Must be a minimum 18 years old.
