We are currently seeking a Consolidations Senior Accountant! The Consolidations Senior Accountant is responsible for various accounting duties related to our U.S and international subsidiaries. The Consolidations Senior Accountant is expected to take ownership of the consolidation process and ensure information is received, processed, and analyzed timely. This role’s responsibilities also include various deliverables related to monthly/quarterly internal and external reporting as well as external auditor deliverables. The Senior Accountant will also be involved in various cross-functional projects in support of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. If this sounds like the position for you, please read on!

Career Requirements

What you will be doing:

  • You will support month-end closing activities, including preparation and posting of journal entries and consolidation/elimination entries
  • You will ensure that all entries are properly supported
  • You will ensure elimination of all inter-company accounts within the company’s materiality threshold
  • You will perform variance analysis for assigned areas of responsibility and partners with corporate department leaders and other corporate personnel to ensure variances are adequately explained
  • You will prepare various audit schedules as required during the annual audit and quarterly reviews and responds to internal and external audit requests as needed
  • You will ensure compliance with applicable SOX controls

 

What we are looking for:

  • You will need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university
  • You will need 4-7 years of accounting experience
  • You will need a CPA license

This is a major area of importance. Customer Service is one of the primary responsibilities of this position and will be utilized over 80% of the time. The person in this position will need to have keen analytical skills that will allow him/her to look at data and identify discrepancies and irregularities and determine the best solution to correcting the situation.
