Career Description

The Associate General Counsel provides legal advice and counsel to the Company’s U.S. operations.  Advises Company in legal matters related to store operations.  Ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements of the Company.  Regularly uses independent discretion and judgment to recognize and resolve complex problems.  Is accountable for the quality, timeliness, and accuracy of work performed.

Key Ares of Responsibility

Legal advice and counsel.

Critical and Essential Tasks

  • Performs legal research, interprets laws, identifies business solutions and recommends related courses of action.
  • Advises business clients as to legal risk of current and new business initiatives.
  • Engages and manages outside counsel resources.
  • Manages litigation and assists the Compliance Department in managing regulatory matters.
  • Prepares and reviews real estate leases, services agreements, and other contracts.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Career Requirements


5+ years of experience as an attorney, with preferable attorney experience in the financial services industry


A Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school; license to practice law in the State of Texas.

  • Demonstrated ability to liaison between department heads, managers, Team Members, customers, and business partners
